LunaWeb President Dave Barger served as the speaker for the
PRSA Memphis Chapter luncheon. Focusing on social media and its benefits, Dave highlighted many options for utilizing social media.
In a crowd of about 100 PR practioners, roughly 20% use the social utility Facebook, and even fewer have heard of Twitter. Dave not only told the crowd about the seemingly endless options for social networking sites, but also showcased a few specific ones and their benefits.
- LinkedIn has charm for it’s Question/Answer platform.
- Facebook is appealing because of its ad space, growing number of users and business-friendly platform.
- Twitter is useful because it’s information gathering/sharing abilities.
